The Simply Be Story
Where It All Began
I firmly believe that our current pace of life is unsustainable for our well-being. In early 2013, I founded TaskPro, a Life Management Service that assists individuals with managing their homes and personal lives. My guiding principle is “Take Time To-Be, Not To-Do.” I am deeply passionate about enhancing our quality of life and am committed to helping my clients reclaim more of their precious time.
A year after launching TaskPro, I was devastated by the loss of my only brother. He faced numerous challenges and had to relearn to walk four times. After his passing, I spiraled into a profound and debilitating depression. I spent my days in bed, unable to read, listen to music, or watch TV due to my struggles. As I lay there, I reflected on my brother’s life and began to realize that he didn’t perceive his life as a tragedy. I delved deeper into the reasons behind his remarkable quality of life despite his hardships and documented my findings in my book, “Take Time To-Be: How Learning to Live in the Moment Enabled My Brother to Embrace an Imperfect Life, Perfectly.”
As I gradually recovered from my depression and anxiety, I noticed a recurring theme emerging. It became evident that we all need to prioritize living in the present moment more frequently. We all need to make time for “Take Time To-Be, Not To-Do” and learn to simply be.
